About the job:
Scaling our product to thousands of customers with different profiles (from small apartment owners to huge agencies and construction companies with thousands of properties) involves an enormous amount of work behind the scenes. We focus on the needs of our customers. With so many ideas, suggestions and desires it is not easy to keep an overview about the whole project, to prioritize issues and to create short, mid and long term goals for our product. This is why we are looking for you, our new general Product Manager, a key actor to Stays, who will develop strategies to leverage our business to become a global player ! We work with several programming languages and technologies, such as NodeJS, MongoDB, Kubernetes and do believe in the "release early, release often" philosophy. Projects are planned in Jira and code resides in GitLab.
Summary of responsabilities:
* Define, prioritize, and communicate short and long term product goals/the roadmap;
* Develop a deep understanding of our users and founders by doing research, data analysis, and interviews;
* Stay up to date on new global technologies and help the team understand where the company and the market is going to;
* Create structure and processes within the product teams;
* Connect customers, support members with the design and the DEV team.
You will be successfull if you?
* Have an ownership approach to get things done - have an ownership mentality, get the best out of everyone on the team, be proactive and energetic about pushing things forward;
* Have at least 5 years of experience as product manager, CPO or PO in a startup company;
* Are in love with technology, your passion is building and scaling products to positively shape the world;
* Have excellent communication skills, be a motivator;
* Fluent in English (Spanish will also be very helpful, but our main language is English);
* Able to make data driven decision, cold prioritizations and don't get influenced by emotions;
* Think structurally to help teams break down problems, understand blockers and bottlenecks, and balance short and long-term priorities;
* Curious / always willing to learn and to growth
* Have a PM3 certification
